My oldest son and I have had several conversations in the past few months about what he'd like to be when he grows up. First and foremost, he wants everybody to be rich. I second that!
He has mentioned the typical boy careers, such as a policeman, fireman, army guy, etc. But the career he's been interested in the longest is a food critic. In fact, when I asked him again just this morning he said, "I really want to live with you and be a food critic." Awwwww!!!
Then he asked, "Do I have to take a bite of the food?" I just laughed and told him he would have to be willing to try all sorts of different things. The boy's got a pretty adventurous palate to begin with, and pretty much eats anything I fix for dinner; except for pot roast. It must take him an hour to eat a serving of pot roast because he chews each bite until it's completely in liquid form and has expanded to the size of a huge piece of bubble gum. Gross! But he'll eat sushi, shrimp, mushrooms, and lots of other things I would've never eaten as a kid.
Whatever my precious boy dreams of being when he grows up, I hope he's happy. He's such a blessing to me :)
Very sweet! And, great pictures too!
